InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has recently signed a management agreement with Tipping Point Hospitality Private Limited for Holiday Inn Goa Candolim. Once operational, the hotel will be second property of the hotel group in the Goan territory. The hotel is located strategically amidst North Goa’s popular destinations – Candolim and Calangute. 

The newly built 110-room hotel will be a 30-minute drive from the city center and a 60-minute drive from the Dabolim Airport. The hotel is also in proximity to North Goa’s popular entertainment and nightlife destinations and is a 15-minute walk from Candolim beach and Sinquerim Fort.

In addition to featuring fully equipped guest rooms, the hotel will feature expansive meeting space and a business centre to cater to the MICE movement in the city.

The hotel will also feature an all-day dining restaurant and a lobby bar, leisure facilities such as an outdoor pool and a gymnasium for guests.

Commenting on the announcement, Sudeep Jain, Vice President, Development, South West Asia, IHG said, “The hotel demand in Goa over the past decade has evolved from being solely leisure driven to a more varied base including MICE and commercial segments. A brand like Holiday Inn with its international appeal, world-class amenities and a great service culture, is a perfect fit for this market. This will be our second Holiday Inn hotel in Goa.”
